There are two ways to access services at Soul Meets Science.
The first is through the Medicare Better Access scheme. The second is by paying privately.
Consultations are only available if you are in Australia.

Please note that a valid credit card is required to book an appointment so that your payment and/or rebate can be processed.
MEDICARE (BETTER ACCESS)
Medicare Fees
You pay: $230.00
Rebate from Medicare: $96.65 (this may be subject to change)
Out of pocket cost: $133.35
* If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice you will be charged 50% ($115). This is also applied if you do not attend your appointment.
** If you do not complete the Medicare requirements, we will not be able to process your rebate. You will be charged the Private Billing rate until this is provided and/or updated.
HOW IT WORKS:
Step 1 - You attend your GP and complete a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP). This plan will outline some information about you and the number of sessions you can access under the scheme. (Six initial sessions, and four additional can be requested upon review).
Step 2 - You send an enquiry to Soul Meets Science via e-mail, organise a time for a quick phone call, and book an appointment.
Step 3 - A link will be sent to you. Please complete this and return at least 24 hours before your first session: This includes information on consent and confidentiality, new client form, Medicare card details, and the ability to upload your MHCP.

Step 4 - You will be sent an SMS and email link for your session.

Step 5 - Attend your appointment.

Step 6 - Payment is processed and your rebate is sent to your nominated bank account provided you have entered and sent all the relevant/up to date information.
Step 7 - ​Your GP is updated regarding your support at specific review points.
