My aim is to facilitate a safe space to get to know you: I will likely ask what has brought you to therapy at this point, some of your history, and what you’re hoping to get out of support.
Your new patient form will include confidentiality information, which is important for you to understand. While what we discuss is likely to remain confidential, there are limits to this (as with most healthcare providers).
That is totally fine! You need to feel like any therapist is a good ‘match’ for you: Therapy is a vulnerable process and outcomes are largely dependent on the quality of the therapeutic relationship. I welcome feedback, but I also totally understand if I am not the right person for you to work with.
Please complete the new client form prior to your first session. If you are accessing services through Medicare your MHCP must have been uploaded and provided prior to the first session. Have your device ready to go, and test the camera and microphone so I can see and hear you.
Any cancellations that occur within 24 hours will result in a 50% cancellation fee ($110). This will also be applied if you do not attend your scheduled appointment. DNA/cancellation fees must be paid prior to your next appointment otherwise this appointment will not go ahead.
Payment is processed utilising the card details you have provided in the new client form. If accessing services through Medicare, your rebate is paid back into your nominated bank account.
